The aim of this study was the study of the effectiveness of life skills training (self-consciousness skills and stress management skills) on improving quality of life, perceived stress and promotion of health indicators in female-headed households of Azarshahr city. 30 female of porticipant was voruntarly selected and assigned randomly to experimental and control groups. Participants responded to Life Quality Tstes Cohen’s perceived stress Scale and General Health Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis statistical method. The results showed that Life skills training program is effective in improve of mentel health quality of life skills, perceived stress and health indicators. Therefore, it is suggested that the training of self-awareness and stress management skills, be included in the training program, the Welfare Organization and the Khomeini Relief Committee.
